Twins Takeoff Together

After losing their senior season due to complications with the CoronaVirus, Drew and Clay are off to Upstate New York to play collegiate lacrosse. After living together for 18 years they are now going to be only 30 minutes away from each other.

The Arcuri boys have had a long journey to college lacrosse. Andrew plans to play Division 1 at Siena College after being a 4-year starter on varsity at WHB. Clayton is going to Union College to continue his lacrosse career as a Dutchman.

Clay says, “It would have been great to play out my senior season.”

Andrew adds, “I was looking forward to senior night and just having fun playing ball.”

Although the Arcuri twins are leaving WHB, they, and the rest of the seniors will always be remembered for their hard work throughout the winter to get prepared for an expected playoff run.

Clay plans to major in mechanical engineering in hopes of helping out the United States military aircraft. Drew wants to major in education and someday hopes to be a professional lacrosse player and college lacrosse coach.

As their brother, I feel that they deserve a little thank you message…I just want to say how grateful I am for my two brothers. You guys have always pushed me to be my best and to never give up. You have set an example for me on how to act and Andrew you sometimes taught me how NOT to act. All jokes aside, I just want to wish you the best of luck in college and in life. Words cannot express how much you truly mean to me.
