Canberg’s “Best Style”

Gabrielle Johnson, Staff Writer

It’s that time of the year where the senior class chooses their class superlatives, but what do you have to do to be chosen? Cassidy Canberg’s unique style over the previous years has put her on the map for “Best Style”.

It is no surprise to her class that Cassidy has taken the spot for best style.

Cassidy has always dressed herself ever since she was a baby. Cassidy’s mom and dad would try to dress her but she said, “I would completely refuse and always stuck to what I wanted.”

Growing up in a social media-based world, personal style can be influenced heavily based on what is “trending.” Because of Cassidy’s independent personality, she said “social media had only a minor effect” on her style.  “I definitely find inspiration occasionally from it but I try to not let what I see on the Internet dictate what I think is stylish because it’s trending,” she shared.

Personality and mood has a big effect on how Cassidy presents herself on a day-to-day basis.  Depending on how she’s feeling that day, “I like to change things up and try to work different things in my closet, in different way.”
