Teachers can make or break your entire school year, and we all have our favorites. For some students, its their teacher’s sense of humor, personality, or fashion sense that makes him or her their favorite
Most students’ favorite teachers have taught them for more than just one school year. Junior Taylor Bentz has had her favorite teacher, Mrs. Zafonte, during her freshmen, sophomore, and junior year.
Sophomore, Justin Smith performs well in his favorite teacher’s, Mr. Kochis’, class because, “I am a beast at math, and his teaching is really good.” Justin has also had Mr. Kochis for two years.
Many students love when their teachers have a great sense of humor and are very patient in the classroom. Kelsey D’aries, a sophomore, thinks, “Mr. Moran has a great personality, a great sense of fashion, and a very similar sense of humor to me.”
In most cases students perform their best in their favorite teachers’ classes because it is easier to work harder and understand in them. Freshman Reilly Dunning and senior Max Pastor perform best in Mrs. Dimarco’s and Mr. Ski’s math classes. Senior Jesse Haber’s favorite teacher is Mr. Dorskind because he never gets mad at her and can always answer her questions.
Students find teachers more likable if they’re being themselves, more relaxed, and having a smile on their face.
