Walking through WHB halls oversized sweaters, colored jeans, Polo, and fashionable boots are seen frequently. That’s right, it’s fall. We checked in with some of WHB’s most stylish students to learn about the current trends.
Sophomore Gabby Saso describes her style as “comfortable”. Gabby is usually seen wearing neutral colors such as browns, grays, and tans. Gabby said, “No one really influences my style, it’s really just me showing off my taste of the clothes I like, my own choices.” She also said, “I currently shop all over and find cute things here and there wherever I go.” Her favorite stores are Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters, H&M, and Forever 21.
Sophomore Erik Nidzyn considers his style “fabulous” while he supports Polo all day every day. Obviously, Ralph Lauren influences his style. When asked about his favorite item to wear to school, Erik said, “I’d prefer to be naked, but a three quarter zip Polo with some Ralph Lauren jeans is always a good choice.” Erik told us currently the pink pony collection from Polo is all the hype since it’s breast cancer month.
Though junior Ryan Duncan doesn’t have a specific style, you can spot him wearing Pacsun and clothes he bought online. His favorite color to wear to school is blue. Ellie Cord said, “Ryan expresses his individuality through his defined sense of style.”
Senior Jesse Haber can be found shopping at Urban Outfitters, Tobi, and Forever 21. Jesse said, “No one really influences my style, I kind of just put together outfits that I think are cute.” She gave us some insight on long sweaters, infinity scarfs, and flannels being in this season. Her go’ to colors are either white or blue and she loves wearing sweaters.
This fall, maroon seems to be a big hit. Kelsey D’Aries said, “Maroon jeans are snazzy. They bring out my eyes.” Along with the chilly weather comes oversized sweaters, moccasins, colored jeans, and new trends for WHB!
