We all have them, and we all need to take them seriously: Final Exams!
For most of us, finals are just another test we go about taking. But the truth is they’re not. According to assistant principal Mr. Bookamer, “Final Exams count as 20% of your overall average and can determine whether you pass or fail an entire class.”
Mr. Bookamer also said that “the most important thing is to make sure your cell phones are nowhere near you during both finals or Regents exams.” If your phone even goes off during a final or Regents exam, you will receive an automatic zero and get no credit for that test.
So how should you prepare for a final exam? Along with keeping your phone off and away from you, as a student studying is obviously the most important thing you can do when preparing for a final. Whether it is using study groups, after school review sessions, or just study by yourself, whatever works for you the best is probably what you should do.
If you’re doing your best and you think you know the material, you should not really be worried. Going into a final exam with a bad attitude is the second worst thing you can do only to not studying.
Good luck on your finals WHB!
