Each year we see the campaign videos, we see the posters crowding the halls but who are the people behind all this? Who are the people that lead our student body? Each grade has a class president.
For the freshmen its Zach Ellenhorn, sophomores is Conner Hickey, juniors is Nora Davenport and seniors is Joe Palagonia. Each of these students strives for his or her grade and has a huge responsibility. Students don’t take the time to get to know and appreciate what these four students really do or how they got there in the first place.
Senior Class President: Joe Palagonia
Q: What made you want to run for president?
A: “It looks good for college and I wanted to get a better prom for the seniors because I heard it wasn’t so great last year.”
Q: What else would you like to accomplish?
A: “I want to get more school field trips, field day like when we were kids, school dances.”
Q: What did you make your campaign video about?
A: “In essence it was cluster bomb that included so many epic encounters. My man Bryan Hoffman was reading the thesaurus, Jesse made it rain, Dom sniffed an orchid and I jumped off a hill and that symbolizes our dedication to make this school a better place. In essence we tried to ensue comedy to sway the voters, and then bestowed our serious beliefs.”
Q: Why did you wait until senior year to run for president?
A: “Two reasons. One, I never thought until senior year that student government was anything important until I realized it was the only way to get stuff done. Also, I wanted to put my view on senior prom and make this year special.
However my associates and my current attempts to develop more school spirit within the classes have been declined from the administration however we are currently trying to work on another project that we hope to get passed. Also I have to run the class reunions forever.”
