As the weather changes so does your closet. Let’s take a look at some of the trends for this fall.
A staple for your closet this fall is basics. So many different outfits can be made with a pair of jeans with tops. Sophomore Addie DeLeva said her favorite places to shop for basics are Brandy Melville and Garage. Brandy Melville is located in Southampton, however some pieces from Brandy are sold in PacSun in Smith Haven Mall. Garage is located in Smith Haven Mall as well.
One trending basic this fall are Motel Rock’s Low Rise Parallel Jeans. Add Brandy Melville’s Amara top, which goes perfectly with the jeans. To finish off the look add the Alana Zip-Up Sweater, also from Brandy, and Uggs women classic ultra mini classics.
Guys this fall should be wearing a Comfrt “signature fit” oversized hoodie with PacSun’s men’s baggy jeans.
Sophomore Arianna Villella thinks the best places to shop for affordable, yet cute clothes are Brandy Melville and Edikted. She said, “I’m obsessed with their mini skirts and going out tops.”
Edikted is mainly online; their closest location is in NYC. A trendy top on Edikted right now is the Teira sheer lace tank top which pairs perfectly with Edikted Ashia low rise mini skirt. Slip on a pair of Adidas Samba OG Better Scarlet shoes, and you’re ready to go.
A cute pair of shoes will elevate any outfit. Sophomore Abby Jimenez said her favorites this fall are “Adidas Sambas OG in any color and Uggs women classic ultra mini classics.”
Look for Adidas at the store in Riverhead at Tanger. Uggs and Sambas are more on the expensive side when it comes to shoes, with Uggs running about $120-150 and Sambas starting at $100 up to $170. This can be a bit pricey for most, but they are worth the splurge.
Abby said, “I’ve had Uggs since last year and they look brand new. My Adidas are new but they’re super comfortable and definitely worth the price.”
Make sure to stock up your closet with this year’s trending fall fashion.
