For example, junior, Cassidy O’Brien, goes to Shamrock Christmas Tree Farm in Mattituck every year. There are so many reasons why her and her family love this place so much, but she says these are her favorite things about it, “there’s popcorn, train rides, pictures with Santa, and more. It’s so much fun…this place has the perfect atmosphere to get you in the Christmas spirit, and it’s perfect for people of all ages.” Shamrock Christmas Tree farm is open every weekend from November 27^th all the way until Christmas Eve. They offer a wide selection of Christmas trees, and people have the option of cutting down their own tree if they wish, or if that’s not their thing, they can buy a pre-cut tree for an easier experience. Not only can you buy the perfect tree here, you can also choose from a large variety of Christmas/Winter themed wreaths. Another great place to visit this year when you decide it’s time for the perfect tree and a little Christmas spirit is Hampton Nursery and Landscape in Hampton Bays. Junior, Carolina Garcia visits Hampton Nursery and Landscape every year with her dad and her brother, they usually get their Christmas tree a week before Christmas. Carolina says she would recommend this place to anybody looking for a Christmas tree this year and that “it has a nice atmosphere which makes you feel very warm and welcome.” Hampton Bays Nursery and Landscape has a large variety of trees to choose from as well as other festive Christmas decorations. Carolina says, ”there are so many trees to choose from and you get a nice Christmas feeling when you’re picking out the right tree.” Hampton Nursery and Landscape is located on 205 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, NY 11946.

Some other great places for students and residents of the Westhampton Beach area to look into this year are, Mike’s Christmas Tree Farm in Manorville and Stables Garden Center in East Moriches. At Mike’s Christmas Tree Farm, people have the option to cut down their own Christmas tree or have it cut down for them. All Christmas trees are $12 per foot (except Blue Spruce) and fresh wreaths are made right on the premises. Mike’s Christmas Tree Farm is open every day from 8am until 4:30pm, saws are provided to people who wish to cut their own tree and tree-wrapping services are offered as well. At Stables Garden Center in East Moriches, all trees are pre-cut but there is a large variety to choose from, you can purchase trees that are anywhere from 3-10 feet tall. With many types of Christmas trees to choose from and every size there is, prices vary accordingly, but they usually stay between the $40-60 price range for a good Christmas tree.
