Emily Schmidt, a junior at WHBHS, grew up in a small town In Massachusetts and when she was 10 moved to East Quogue with her parents, brother, and dog Hoover. She is outgoing and loves to be with friends and family. She spends her weekends on the beach and on the water. All the unique places around the world interest her and in the future she hopes to travel and experience different cultures, creating memories and taking in new experiences with new people. She hopes to study abroad wherever her life takes her and major in the medical field. This is Emily’s first year writing for The Hurricane Eye and is excited take part in it.
