Ellie, a sophomore at WHBHS, is a Westhampton local that loves to go to the beach and swim in the ocean. During the summer Ellie volunteered at East End Hospice’s Camp Good Grief as a camp counselor and worked at Island Surf. This year she made the varsity volleyball team and is an outside hitter. Ellie plays on a travel team, FURY, and in the winter travels to other states for tournaments. Other than volleyball, Ellie enjoys practicing hot yoga, traveling with her family and visiting many places like St. Martin, Costa Rica, and Paris. For college, Ellie’s dream is to go to Charleston and pursue a career in a creative field. In the future Ellie hopes to settle in Westhampton Beach and lead a successful life.  This is Ellie’s first year writing for the Hurricane Eye.
