Ava Failla, Staff Writer
Ava, a resident of Quogue, is a junior at WHBHS. A varsity athlete, Ava is goalkeeper on the soccer team, and a defender on the lacrosse team. Ava also plays for Long Island Top Guns Black, and she is committed to play Division 1 at Drexel University. In college, she hopes to major in bio pre-med and/or health sciences, and to eventually open her own practice as a PA or in the Orthopedics field as a doctor. Ava’s community service includes collecting over 3,000 books for Book Fairies and gathering solar eclipse glasses for South American children. For fun, Ava likes to kick back with some friends and eat sushi on the beaches of Dune Road, and explore new places like Trinidad and Trabajo. This Ava’s first year writing for the Hurricane Eye.
