Senior goalie Jake D’Agata is headed to the University of Scranton to play lacrosse.

Scranton is a Division III lacrosse program located in Northeast Pennsylvania and has a total population of about 6,000. “I like the small to medium size school,” Jake said. “I wanted to stay in theNortheast and not too far from home and wanted to be at a competitive lacrosse school.”

The recruiting process was long and tiring but worth it. He said, “It was long. I went to showcases and tournaments every weekend from Maryland to Massachusetts to Connecticut since junior year.”

There were many factors in his decision to commit to Scranton. “The coaches are personable and straight up, letting me know it is a big commitment, which I wanted,” he explained. “I met the team , they seemed like funny kids I could have a good time with.  The fields and facilities were nice.”

Jake will be majoring in business. “I am still deciding what I want to do in business, but I like the business major because it’s so broad and I could do a lot of things in business,” he explained.

Congrats, Jake on becoming a Royal!
