Lacrosse season has started and the girls’ team, lead by head coach Ann Naughton, have high hopes for a successful season. JV coach Mr. Duca says, “The girls are all really eager to work hard and they’re all determined.”
Some of the Hurricane standouts are seniors Ciara McKeon and Lexi Cable and junior Haley Laube. Ciara said, “I love lacrosse because it has different aspects and it’s a team sport. Also, it has it’s own culture in a way.” Ciara has been playing lacrosse since the 5th grade.
Freshman Brooke Alpert says, “I love playing lacrosse because it’s so much fun playing and being able to play with friends. But it’s also a lot of running and hardwork.”
Come support the girls at their first game is March 30th verses Center Moriches. “Work hard and have fun,”says Mr. Duca.
