Dear WHBHS Girls,
It’s time to put an end to the cruelty some of us are showing to each other through the Internet and text messages. If you’re a bully or you’re a person who lives off of the weaknesses or inabilities of others, then listen up!
It is not okay to put someone else down because of your insecurities. We all have imperfections. You’re impressing no one and making no new friends by being mean and cruel to another person. You may feel big and bad for a moment, but that’s it. If you’re willing to put someone’s mental stability on the line for one moment, you’re just showing everyone how messed up YOU are.
Instead of trying to bash on everyone that crosses your path why don’t you try and do something useful? Do some homework and study a little. We are in school to learn, not to ruin each other’s lives.
By your actions, it seems that you have problems of your own, but ask yourself why try and put someone else through the pain that you yourself can’t handle? Stop taking your problems out on others; it’s solving nothing but giving you more problems and a bad reputation. Go seek attention in some other way. Stop hurting the people that could be helping you.
Bullying leads to a person feeling vulnerable and alone, which in many cases leads to suicide. Unless you want to be known as the cause of a tragedy, I would advise you to stop bullying before your actions lead to the death of another human being. Once this happens there is no turning back. The title murderer could follow you for life. There goes every life opportunity you could have had; there goes your future. With each and every nasty message you send or crush a person’s feelings, you are slowly becoming a horrible person, and the damage you cause could be irreversible!
It’s time to embrace the differences of others. You, along with no one else, is perfect. We all have flaws and no one wants to be picked on for hers. Simply, BE NICE. Show people the real you, because everyone is unique and remarkable in their own way. Letting others feel comfortable with being themselves will let you feel comfortable with being yourself too. I am sure we are all nice people. Let’s start acting like it.
Sincerely,
A friend
