Out with the old, in with the new! From their wings to their sweet potato fries, Boom Burger’s menu offers a variety of food for their customers – and it’s a hit for WHB students!
Two guys, (both named Anthony) poured their life savings into this burger joint, which officially opened its doors on October 22. With their love for food, they put together their creative ideas and came up with a menu that caters to all. Hotter wings, crazier toppings to put on your burger, crispy sweet potato fries, and nutella zeppoles that will blow your mind are just some of the great menu items available. “I like the variety- you can really tell they care about the restaurant,” shared junior John La Mura.
For John, he is one of many students that keep on going back because of their hot and spicy wings, which keep getting hotter and hotter. Parmesan, honey mustard, nuclear, thai chili, and abusive are just a few of the flavors that Boom Burger coats on their wings. The most deadliest are the suicidal wings, which are the hottest of them all!
Boom Burger even has their own “Boom Buddy” system, which caters to seniors and underclassmen. If a senior goes to Boom Burger to get lunch for his or herself and gets food to bring back to underclassmen, the owners will hook you up with a free breakfast or lunch. All seniors should take advantage of their lunch special, Monday through Friday from 10:30 am – 2 pm, but make sure you show your student I.D. to receive a drink, fries, and a burger or wings for under six dollars!
“My favorite thing on the menu are the sweet potato fries. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a quick bite to eat,” said sophomore Emily Beaver. The comic strips on the walls provide a really cool creative aspect to the environment, as well as the two big screen TVs that are always tuned in to ESPN or Sports Center. So if you are looking for a place to hang out on Saturday night with your friends, or a quick bite for lunch during the week, Boom Burger is the place to be!
