Winners, Logan and Hudson

On December 9th the student government hosted a charity Spikeball tournament on the turf.  Sixteen teams competed after school to raise money to Adopt-a-family.

The tournament is one of three fundraisers by the student government to help raise money to buy gifts for a local family’s Christmas. President Miller Brennan said the tournament was a success.  “The tournament helped to raise money for our cause and we all had a lot of fun. It was a nice afternoon.”

In teams of two, students battled it out. Hudson Graning and Logan Rodgers proved to be the winners.  Logan said, “It feels great Hudson and I were prepared going into the tournament and took out all of our opponents with ease.”

Last year’s winner Chance Brindle said, “Our key to success was playing in the gym all the time and playing out of school.” Chance blames his loss this year on a lack of practice.

Thank you to all who participated!
