Throughout Long Island, there are many choices of activities to enjoy the fall season. For a spooky adventure, Gateway Haunted House is a great option. People have been trying new ways to incorporate bows into their outfits, hair, or accessories. Girls have tied bows with simple lace or ribbon onto their bags, key chains, shirts, ugg boots, and even hairstyles with intricate bows. Various styles have been seen with bows tying the hair together. Ugg boots have been in and out of popularity since the 2000s, but this fall they are back in the limelight. A simple, yet comfortable, boot that can tie any outfit together while being cute, durable, and a great investment. Slicked back hair styles are gaining huge amounts of popularity right now, people consider it a “clean and sleek look”. The hairstyle gained popularity due to how easy and cute it is. Your hair can be slicked into a ponytail, braid, bun, and other different styles. The versatility of the easy slickback is what helped the hairstyle become all the rage. I don’t know about you, but a quiet night watching fall movies with friends sounds like a perfect night. You can never go wrong with the classic movies like, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Hocus Pocus, Girl vs Monster, and so many more childhood movies. As of 2023, new Halloween movies have come out. Totally Killer, a new movie that is an hour and 46 minutes, is a story about a 17-year-old girl named Jamie, travels back in time to stop an old hometown killer and is determined to save the victims before the killings start. This movie’s pacing is everything. It is 4 out of 5 stars and it was a great scary but also comical movie.
No One Will Save You, a new movie that is an hour and 33 minutes long about a girl that lives alone until an Alien comes along and you see her battle and protect herself. This movie was not a fan favorite and people thought it was longer than it could have been. It was only rated 2.5 stars out of 5.
Talk To Me, produced by A24 theaters, was a fast-paced thriller about a group of friends that can conjure spirits from an embalmed hand; it is all fun and games until things start to go wrong. It was scary but not too terrifying, and was rated a 4 out of 5.
Scream VI, a two hour and 22 minute movie, part of the Scream Series. If you have never watched the Scream series, it is a must watch. It is about an infamous masked killer that terrorizes a town and has a great plot twist at the end. The series became so popular that multiple prequel movies were made, with some of the original cast still premiering in the movies. Scream VI, is about the survivors of the Ghostface killings get a fresh start in New York City, but their past seems to follow them. This movie is rated 3 out of 5 stars.
