Picture this: you’re driving down Dune Road with the summer breeze and the windows down, blasting your favorite music, but wait, what are you listening to? With summer just around the corner, many WHBHS students are in need of a new playlist! With so many different artists and styles, I took a look at what students are listening to here at WHB. 

Junior Troy Lanzetta says, “My favorite artist is Juice Wrld. Go listen to his new album Goodbye and Good Riddance.” 

Senior Tommy Meigel says, “My favorite artist is Kanye, and my favorite genre is rap.”

When it comes to a music platform, the options are endless. A few of the most popular include Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, and Pandora. Brayan Naranjo, a senior at WHB, says, “Apple Music is the best platform.” 

As summer approaches some students predicted what the album of the summer will be. Senior Tommy Meigel predicts, “Travis Scott’s album Astroworld is going to be the album of the summer.” Brayan added, “Drake’s album is on the come up, watch out for any new and upcoming music!”

As you drive down Dune Road this summer, unsure of what song to play next, just remember these artists and albums, and you’ll have the perfect summer playlist!
