Wreath to Wreath
For as long as most of us can remember the Youth to Youth club have been doing wreath sales around the holiday time. They do this not only to spread Christmas cheer, but also to raise money so the club can facilitate fun activities for the school throughout the year. Y2Y board member Raj Ghayalod says that the club “sold upwards of 90 wreaths this year” and they did much better than last year.
A lot of hard work goes into putting on and preparing this fundraiser, but the club also has a lot of fun with it. Club president Connor Federico says that, “Youth to Youth has a wreath making party with milk, cookies, and plenty of music.” They use an assembly line process to but them together and made 96 wreaths in just 2 hours. A new record!
Thank you to anyone who bought a wreath this year and to all who helped make the event possible! This could not have been possible without the generosity and cooperation of the Westhampton Beach family.
