New teachers. Who are they and where did they come from? This year at WHBHS, four new teachers arrived into our school. Here is an introduction to one of those teachers, Mrs. Alvarado.
Mrs. Alvarado, who joined the English department teaching 9th and 10th graders, is so excited to be here. When asked what her favorite thing about WHB was, she answered with a smile, “The students: on my first day they all greeted me with a good morning, and were so warm and welcoming.”
Mrs. Alvarado, who taught for six years at ESMMS, always knew she wanted to teach. Students at ESM aren’t provided laptops like WHB. Mrs. Alvarado shared, “I love the fact that students have laptops. It eliminates paper, and they are very useful.” Mrs. Alvarado also states that she could not be happier with her new job at WHBHS.
